The National Community Foundations Forum could not take place without the involvement of our partners and supporters who work closely with us to deliver this unique event which encourages information sharing and collective learning between community foundations and other community, government and philanthropic organisations from across Australia.

Auspice and Event Hosts


Bass Coast Community Foundation
The Bass Coast Community Foundation was established in May 2002 to encourage philanthropy within the Bass Coast Region. The foundation has been supported by Philanthropy Australia, the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) and in mid 2009 through a Victorian State Government “Community Foundation Initiative” challenge Grant. The foundations works to create opportunities for local philanthropy and allocate funds to support community initiatives.

Mirboo North & District Community Foundation
The Mirboo North & District Community Foundation launched in 2010 and works across a number of small townships in South Gippsland. In addition to providing grants to organisations and community groups for local projects that build capacity and pride within the community, the Foundation is an enabler; facilitating and collaborating with other organisations, bringing its capacity as a locally embedded flexible organisation. The Foundation is committed to raising awareness of community foundations and contributing to the collective voice of community philanthropy in Australia.

The Foundation for Rural & Regional Renewal (FRRR) harnesses the power of collective investment between government, business and philanthropy to improve the lives of those living in rural, regional and remote Australia.

FRRR works with communities to build their social capital and economic resilience, by engaging and providing resources for projects that create the change that communities aspire to achieve.
