ACP’s Community Foundation Development workshops, webinars, teleconferences, Fireside Chats and other initiatives aim to build knowledge, capacity and awareness of of community foundations.

ACP Forum Lite – Friday 7th September 8am-3pm (save the date)

With support from the Lord Mayors Charitable Foundation, ACP will be offering a networking breakfast and workshops with Fred Blackwell, CEO of the San Francisco Community Foundation, on Friday 7th September, 8am-3pm. Information and how to book will be announced soon, but please save the date.

Fireside Chats

Fireside Chats are an opportunity for Community Foundation practitioners to come together in an informal conversation (teleconference & online chat) to share their knowledge, experience, resources, challenges and opportunities.

The next Fireside Chat for EOs/CEOs is on Tuesday, 7th August, 11am-12pm AEST (and then bi-monthly).

The next Fireside Chat for Board Chairs and Leading Directors is on Thursday, 20th September at 4.30pm-5.30pm AEST (and then quarterly).

Philanthropy Australia National Conference Purpose: Is it enough?

If you can make it to Melbourne, we encourage participation in this year’s Philanthropy Australia National Conference. It is an opportunity to demonstrate the value of place-based foundations, learn from leaders in the field, share experiences with peers and build your philanthropic network.

There will be opportunities during the Conference for ACP members to connect. Keynotes and workshops will have lots of material relevant to community foundations.

ACP is a partner in Community and Philanthropy Partnerships Week (CPPW)  which took place 20 – 26 November 2017 and is a great opportunity for community foundations and community groups to showcase and promote the great things they have achieved together in cities and regions across Australia.
