Philanthropic Services Manager  0.8FTE Parental Leave position, Bendigo

FRRR is seeking a highly effective individual to fill a 12 month parental leave position as Philanthropic Services Manager commencing in July 2017. The role is diverse and requires someone who thrives on deadlines and multi-tasking, has a strategic yet grounded eye for business development opportunities and execution, and can communicate and build solid rapport with a wide range of stakeholders including rural communities, governments and philanthropists.

Essential to delivering the KPI’s of the role is a current in-depth understanding of the philanthropic sector in Australia and FRRR’s unique structure and charitable purposes, a passion for rural, regional and remote communities, and a motivated, productive, and collegial approach to getting things done and growing FRRR’s reach and impact.

Community Capacity Building Officer – Social Investment

(2 year contract/14 hours per week)

City of Parramatta Council is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our dynamic Community Capacity Building team. As Community Capacity Building Officer (Social Investment), you will be responsible for implementing tasks within the Social Investment Action Plan related to the development of a Community Foundation for the City of Parramatta and surrounding areas.

A sub-fund is being created with the Sydney Community Foundation. This role will be responsible for establishing a community-led fundraising group and, through consultation with the community, developing and implementing a Fundraising and Grantmaking Strategy for the sub-fund.
