Ben Rodgers is the Executive Officer for the Inner North Community Foundation.
Ben comes to the Foundation with 10 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector in Melbourne and overseas. This current role continues a few of his key professional interests: the role of place in supporting individuals access opportunities in their lives and contribute to community life, and how public resources are used to accelerate broad impact.
Prior to joining the organisation in 2015, he worked for 5 years in the Whittlesea LGA, including roles with local government, consulting and with Whittlesea Community Connections, where he managed a project responding to the harms of poker machine addiction.
Having lived in the inner north for most of his life, Ben is motivated by the area’s tradition of local people responding to local challenges in meaningful ways. He is passionate about equity, social justice and ensuring everyone has access to opportunity and choice in their lives. Ben loves living in Coburg, where he can be found on a bike or at a local park with his young family.
