Gerlinde Scholz | Executive Officer
Gerlinde joined Australian Community Philanthropy in September 2018. She brings more than twenty years not-for-profit sector leadership experience to this appointment.
In her executive career to date, Gerlinde has delivered capacity building and growth initiatives in diverse environments ranging from higher education and medical research to social services. She gained experience with trust management and the philanthropic sector while working at the University of Melbourne and as COO of a specialist medical research institute.
Gerlinde serves on a number of not-for-profit boards and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Women on Boards.
Originally from Germany, Gerlinde has lived in Melbourne for 30 years. She holds an Honours degree in Latin American Studies from LaTrobe University, a Masters degree in Women’s Studies from the University of Melbourne and has completed an Executive Program for Non-Profit Leaders at Stanford University.
